One of the blogs I follow consistently is that of Ron Edmondson. Ron is the pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. He writes some excellent articles on leadership church and culture.
Here are two posts on his blog from the past week. Ron has raised two sons, and from his articles, it appears as if they are both gone from the home. Ron writes these two articles from the point of view of if he were raising sons and daughters today. His thoughts are pointed and direct… and excellent.
These two lists have made it into my files, and will probably be posted on my wall in my office where I can see them frequently.
Here they are:
10 Things I’d Do If I Were Raising A Daughter Today
10 Things I’d Do If I Were Raising A Son Today
What do you think about these articles? What would you add to his lists? You can leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
