My kids ask me all kinds of questions.

It’s true. They want to know all kinds of stuff.

  • What happens if you put bullets in the campfire?

In order to be a great dad, sometimes you need to know the answers to some pretty strange things.

I don’t know how my dad did it. He often told me that my brothers and I asked some pretty crazy things. He always seemed to have the answer. And looking back, now that I know more about a lot of things, he was right most of the time. Probably all of the time.

And he didn’t have Google or YouTube!

How did he do it?

My kids ask me some pretty funny things. The list above is just a sampling of some of the ones they’ve brought up recently… especially my boys.

If you want to be the best dad you can be, you need to know a lot of stuff.

Of course, you don’t need to be a genius. But when your kids ask these kinds of questions, you need to have answers.

So, give them the ones you have. And if you don’t know, then go find out together. Google it. Head to the library. And in the process, you’ll spend some great times with your kids, learning all kinds of crazy thing!

Be deliberate, Dad!
