Taking the next step can be difficult. We tend to get into a rut so easily, and we miss the opportunity. Taking The Next Step is a weekly reminder to take action. I was browsing through Netflix the other day,and I noticed that they have a lot of old classic TV shows listed, available to watch. Why not pick one of your favorite shows from when you were a kid and watch a few episodes this weekend with your kids?

My kids love doing this! In the past, we have watched most of the Dukes of Hazzard series. I’d like to introduce them to Knight Rider, but it’s not available to steam right now. However, MacGyver is!

My plan is to sit down with the kids on Friday night, and maybe Saturday, too, and watch a few episodes. It should be lots of fun!

Other TV shows you might consider are:

• The Andy Griffith Show
• The Dick Van Dyke Show
• Star Trek (The original series, or a newer one)

Just make sure the series you pick doesn’t have any inappropriate elements! Have a great weekend!
