My favorite superhero, hands down, is Superman. He is the best hero ever created, and as a kid, I dreamed of being Superman.

In a more real way, one of the things I have always tried to be is the superhero for my family. Sometimes it doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to be the hero. You can do it easily. Here are a few ideas:

On the way home tonight, stop at a Redbox and pick up a movie for the family to watch. Better yet, go to the theater.

Bring home a couple of pizzas for the family, or a big bag of candy.

Bring some flowers to your wife.

Take the kids out for an ice cream cone after dinner.

Play catch or toss around a Frisbee in the back yard.

Come up with your own ideas on how to be a superhero. They don’t have to be elaborate. But your family will love it!
